Hello, I’ve been dreaming up stories since I was about one-and-a-half and I tried to write my first book when I was only two (honestly!) – it was called ‘A Kangaroo in a Bubble Car.’

When I’m not writing, I’m busy at universities and in schools, giving talks and helping others to write the best stories they possibly can.
My home is in Bristol. My heart is in Wales and – in my head – I’m always flying off to my favourite places, real or imaginary.
